Mommy and Me

Here is what Leila has been up to these days:

-Maintaining a pretty consistent schedule
-Naps 3x/day with 1 long nap in the afternoon
-Sleeping through the night, from about 9pm - 7am
-Soothing herself to sleep for naps and at night (no more rocking/bouncing from Mom and Dad!)
-Rolling over half way on to her left side to grab something
-Tolerating tummy time in increasing intervals
-Laughing out loud, squealing, giggling, blowing raspberries
-Wearing 6 month clothing already. Never wore much of her initial newborn wardrobe
-Recognizing Mommy and Daddy's faces and voices. Our favorite.

We figured out that we don't have many pictures of Leila with mommy. So here's a good one, along with more smiles from Leila.

3 months old!

Leila reached 3 months of age on January 10. What an amazing ride this has been for the Yoshidas. What will the next 3 months will bring...???

Leila's First Christmas

Leila's First Christmas was so wonderful. She got to have all 4 of her grandparents visit over the course of 1 week, through New Year's too!

Coupon Mom

I am sure some ladies from the couponmom.com could have got all this for cheaper, but i was still happy walking away from Ralps with all these groceries for $48. The 6 boxes of cereal, mocha mix and 2 tubs of country crock omega plus was the biggest hits, but still, thanks to coupon clipping, it all came in under $50. Simple pleasures...I know, but you gotta be frugal right? And diapers ain't cheap, people. At the rate she blows through a package of diapers, we'll be doing a whole lot more coupon cutting from this point forward.
