The rainforest jumper

We recently put together this neat jumper for Leila. She doesn't seem to get what it's all about just yet, but does seem to enjoy it.

The 4 month checkup

We visited our pediatrician last Friday. Leila got a clean bill of health.
She is now weighing in at 14 lb, 3 oz, and is about 25 inches long.
Made it through her second round of shots without much fuss, and actually seemed to be enjoying herself at the office.

She will be dedicated at Fountain of Life Covenant Church (http://www.folcov.org/) this coming Sunday, March 1. Our family and friends will be there to share this incredible moment with her and we are so excited!

More fun in Fremont

Our trip to Fremont was extended, unintentionally, due to the bad weather that we are waiting out. It was a tough ride up to Fremont, and we hope it will be a better ride back. We probably won't be taking any long car rides with Leila anytime soon. She's just too young now. Maybe when she is older. Here's more pics of our trip to see Miko's family.

5 Years!

Leila - 4 months

Here are some new photos of Leila. She loves the camera! Someone just turned 4 months old! Check out Leila with her favorite book...thanks to Grammy! Hopefully she will be speaking Japanese and French, thanks to both her grandmothers.

Family Road Trip

We are driving up to the Bay Area tomorrow to celebrate my older sister's engagement. It will be Leila's first road trip! I think I've way overpacked, but that's OK. There's a first time for everything. At least my parents have a good washing machine and plenty of baby friendly space.
I will try to post pictures when we return.

Rolling over....

This week, Miko witnessed Leila rolling over from her back to her tummy, then pushing herself up with her arms, ready to play. She took a picture to commemorate the milestone for Leila.
