Halfway There
My wife has been so great through the first half of our pregnancy. She still works hard to support the family, encourages me in my business and ministry work and still cleans up after me around the house. hehe.To mark the halfway point, I went back to Cinderella Cakes in Costa Mesa for creative and TASTY ways to commemorate the occasion. Here is what they came up with. Since we don't know what we are having, they used blue, yellow and pink. I believe we are having a girl, so I asked that the shoes be pink. :)

Here is her reaction to the surprise, which I unveiled Saturday night. Thanks to Henry and
Diana for helping make it happen and for capturing the moment. This was a perfect end to an evening that started with some great pizza at Oggi's. Yum yum.

Week 19

Here we are at week 19 of the pregnancy. My lovely wife was still dressed up for work, sorry folks, I was only in my tennis clothes. Nalu was in his birthday suit, plus his collar.
So far so good, baby is moving a lot (which only she can feel). I hear I will be able to feel the movement in a month or two.
Thank you for all the support and prayers for the pregnancy.
Love, L & M.

Hawaiian League Trophy
Back in 2002, during the NFL football season, a bunch of us decided to start a Fantasy Football League. It serves as a way for us all to keep in touch, as most of us grew up together in the islands and are now living far away from each other. We decided to get a trophy to commemorate the winners and to pass around each year.
Here I am, filling in for the esteemed commish, Matt Tom, to pass the honor to Mista Ryan Dang! A repeat winner too!
Congrats to all who have won in previous years. Tyler, Tommy, I can't forget about you guys! I am on a bit of a dry spell, but I suppose as long as Matt's name is not on the
trophy, all of us will be victorious.
Ultimately though, we are huge nerds for taking this so seriously.
